Melodicus Clinic is a small, highly curated boutique speech, language, and voice therapy practice located in Washington Heights, Upper Manhattan serving both children and adults. It is a specialized, intentionally structured clinical environment designed to support nervous system regulation, therapeutic containment, and expressive emergence.

The clinic provides individualized therapy for a range of communication and voice needs, including but not limited to:
-
Voice disorders (resonance balance, breath–voice coordination, healthy loudness, expressive prosody)
-
Neurogenic communication disorders (e.g., aphasia, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s-related changes)
-
Expressive and receptive language delays and disorders across developmental stages

The clinical work at Melodicus Clinic is grounded in Melodicus Expressive Integration™ (MEI), an evidence-informed approach that supports communication through rhythm, melody, resonance, and emotional regulation. The work here integrates current research in speech-language pathology, voice science, and neuromusicology with a holistic understanding of how language and expression emerge through the body, voice, and nervous system. Therapy is structured and intentional, yet responsive to each person’s emotional readiness and individual way of communicating.

We specialize in music-integrated speech-language therapy and voice therapy for children and adults. In our music-integrated work, rhythm, melodic contour, and resonance serve as organizing cues to support regulation, attention, and the emergence of expressive language. In voice therapy, we evaluate and treat a full range of voice disorders, with particular expertise in resonance balance, breath–voice coordination, healthy loudness, and expressive prosody. Alongside this rehabilitative work, we also provide specialized services for clients who wish to intentionally develop a character voice or signature speaking voice and to align how they sound with how they want to be heard.

This is a space for children and individuals who need more than drills, worksheets, or surface-level strategies. Growth is not rushed, expression is not forced, and communication is supported with intention, attunement, and respect.
